One of Koç University’s largest investments in recent years, n2STAR is a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment and provides the best material characterization infrastructure in the country. The center aims to drive impact on in fields such as energy, environment, health, biomedical research, automation, space and aviation technologies, communications, high-tech textiles, and future agriculture.

Core research areas at n^2STAR include photonics/nanophotonics, optics/optoelectronics, electronics/micro-nano electronics, micro and nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS), nanomechanics, microfluidics, materials science and engineering, nanobiotechnologies, and food science. With advanced equipment and an expert team, n^2STAR is dedicated to advancing research and development in these fields and beyond.
